Rosalie Sugrue has very kindly written a short Anzac play suitable for use in church when reflecting on war.
The DLTK website, have some good Remembrance day activities and crafts that can be used and adapted for Anzac day. I loved theirfingerprint poppy wreath. This is really something the whole congregation can do together.
Poppy time: Gives clear instructions on how to make a poppy. This is something that could easily be included in your service on the Sunday and the children could possibly hand out after the service. You may even want to buy a magnets and let the children create Poppy Fridge magnets.
The Anzac Website - has a range of activities etc that can be used at holiday programmes etc
I loved this You Tube clip in which children are asked by youth presenters what Anzac day means to them and why it is important.
