DRIVERS POLICY

If you are driving your own vehicle to TYC #2kC, either by yourself or with passengers, it is important that you fill out this form in the interests of health and safety. We strongly discourage anyone driving a vehicle to TYC without a full licence or fully registered motor vehicle.     DRIVING POLICY AGREEMENT

    Principles
    Driver must be a good role model and be be a good example and be responsible when driving. SAFETY is the key; the lives of the youth in your motor vehicle is in your hands. Drivers are to take full responsibility for their actions.
    Policy
    1. Drivers must hold a full driver's license.
    2. Drivers must abide by the New Zealand Road code.
    3. Driver must ensure that passengers put on their seat belts on.
    4. All vehicles must have Current Warrant of Fitness and vehicle must be currently registered.
    5. All accidents or near misses or irresponsible driving must be reported to the Reverend Minister & Convenor immediately and recorded in the Health & Safety registra. Irresponsible driving includes;
    • Speeding, drifting, close tailing, racing with another youth vehicle or other vehicles.
    • Using cell phone during driving.
    • Driving under the influence of Alcohol or Drugs or any other substances. ​
